Word of Mouth Marketing: Getting back to the basics

There are several different types of word of mouth advertising used to tell your future customers how satisfied your current customers really are:
Surveys – by using both open-ended questions, you can get a feel for what customers really think of your products and services.
Customer Referral Campaigns – by asking and rewarding your customers for referrals with bonuses or discounts, they can sell to your audience for you.
Testimonials – remembering you will have to take the good with the bad in any testimonial, they create a very believable word of mouth campaign.
Keep in mind, any bad referral you receive should always try to be acknowledged, and if you can, corrected.
